About the Role

The Assistant Project Manager role is designed for a self‑driven, resourceful professional to support the delivery of utility‑scale solar projects across the United States. Working onsite in Dallas, you will partner with field teams, subcontractors, and senior leadership to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget. The position offers high impact and growth opportunities, allowing you to manage day‑to‑day operations, track progress, and solve problems in real time while learning the full project lifecycle from pre‑construction through close‑out. • Coordinate engineering studies • Coordinate change order requests • Coordinate situations with engineers • Coordinate with estimating on projects • Prepare submittals and respond to requests for information • Work with owners and clients on specifications and technical questions during planning stages • Assist on projects in planning stages • Coordinate with owners or clients on planning projects • Update regional managers on project status • Create subcontracts and purchase orders • Track job costs and forecast monthly revenue streams • Manage QA/QC on projects • Identify, research, and resolve contract disputes with the Owner • Maintain prime contract with the Owner or Client • Establish monthly billing procedures with the Owner or Client • Maintain job cost control and report monthly • Review general conditions costs monthly • Review subcontractor payment applications, approve or adjust based on percent complete • Approve material and subcontractor invoices for payment • Issue change orders to subcontractors • Initiate and execute monthly progress payments to the Owner • Read and interpret blueprints, technical procedures, contracts, and regulations • Write reports, business correspondence, and document project activities • Effectively present information and answer questions from project stakeholders • Present information to top management, public groups, and boards of directors • Perform calculations using basic algebra and geometry

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field • Minimum five years of solar or EPC construction experience • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
