Support CAD drafting and documentation for signaling design as an intern.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Follow Hitachi CAD standards and learn related tools. • Produce and update electrical/mechanical CAD drawings for design and customer submissions. • Support detailed design documentation, specifications, and system configuration for signaling schemes. • Manage document control in line with IMS and Configuration Management processes. • Learn EWS, file management, and INS 403 procedures. • Apply basic CAD skills, identify errors, and perform rework as needed. • Deliver completed drawings on schedule. • Utilize additional tools such as Descartes, Bluebeam, Visio, and create macros.

What You Bring
Hitachi Rail seeks an enthusiastic, self‑motivated Intern – CAD Technician for 2026 to support the production of signaling design in line with industry and company standards. • Work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively. • Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiently. • Demonstrate proficiency in Microstation (preferred) or AutoCAD. • Communicate fluently in written and verbal English.
