About the Role
In this permanent, full‑time role you will oversee the maintenance, repair, small works and compliance functions for a portfolio of school sites. You will be responsible for both planned and reactive services, ensuring they meet key performance indicators and contractual quality standards. You will lead a multi‑disciplined delivery team and coordinate specialist subcontractors, managing the full lifecycle of maintenance activities across the region while maintaining strong client relationships and minimizing disruption to the school day. • Oversee and manage maintenance, repair, small works and compliance for public sector client. • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance services in line with KPIs and quality standards. • Line‑manage a multi‑disciplined delivery team and coordinate specialist subcontractors. • Manage delivery of maintenance activities across multiple client sites, ensuring safety, cost‑effectiveness and compliance. • Conduct asset verification across the estate. • Plan and schedule PPM work using the FM CAFM system; update system diary with changes. • Liaise with client to ensure works meet standards, avoid school disruptions and agree remedial actions. • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of responsive and cyclical maintenance to meet performance expectations. • Work hands‑on with the maintenance team to review plant faults and implement resolutions. • Act as Authorised Person Low Voltage, issuing permits for complex systems. • Serve as engineering lead, maintaining Gas Safe, Biomass compliance and related paperwork. • Coordinate specialist subcontractors to ensure timely, quality, and cost‑effective service and rectify defects. • Lead multi‑disciplined maintenance teams in facilities management environments.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has proven experience leading maintenance teams in facilities management, a solid understanding of statutory compliance, and hands‑on expertise with CAFM and BMS systems. A valid UK driving licence is required. • Demonstrate knowledge of statutory compliance requirements and balance quality with profit. • Proficient use of CAFM and BMS systems. • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
