About the Role

Key duties include constructing and fabricating control panels, performing rough and finish wiring, installing interlocking wiring, and conducting wiring check‑outs. All work must comply with NEC, NESC, NFPA and UFC standards, and the apprentice will also troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical control circuits for motors and other devices, provide material take‑offs, and propose plan modifications to improve system efficiency. • Install and terminate conduit, cable, equipment, panels, sensors, and control components. • Construct and fabricate control panels; perform rough and finish wiring. • Install interlocking wiring and conduct wiring check‑outs. • Ensure installations comply with NEC, NESC, NFPA, and UFC codes. • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control circuits for motors and devices. • Provide material take‑offs and propose plan modifications to enhance efficiency. • Test equipment for proper performance and keep detailed maintenance records. • Monitor parts usage and assist in preventive/predictive maintenance scheduling. • Follow Silent‑Aire safety program and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

What You Bring

The apprentice must be a registered electrician in Alberta with a valid AIT# and be enrolled in a recognized trade school. They should be able to work under journeyman supervision, independently, and as part of a diverse team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal communication, attention to detail and professionalism under pressure. • Registered Alberta apprentice electrician enrolled in a recognized trade school. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, communication, and professionalism under pressure.
