What You Bring
RQC is seeking skilled Mechanical General Laborers for future assignments with its Mechanical team at King’s Bay Naval Base in Georgia and the surrounding area. Work will be performed on the military installation and compensated at the Davis‑Bacon prevailing wage specific to the base. Applications are currently being accepted into a candidate pool. Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or GED and one year of field or trade experience in commercial construction; experience in government, military, or large commercial projects is preferred. Desired certifications include forklift/manlift operation, fall protection, scissor‑lift/boom‑lift, OSHA 10‑hour, and CPR/First Aid. All hires must present proof of identity and U.S. work authorization, and must successfully pass a drug screen and a commercial criminal background check, including a DoD‑level check for access to the military base. • Hold a high school diploma/GED and at least one year of commercial construction experience • Possess or obtain forklift/manlift, fall protection, scissor‑lift/boom‑lift, and OSHA 10‑hour certifications • CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred • Must provide identity proof, U.S. work authorization, and pass drug screening and DoD background check
