About the Role

The manager will partner with group leadership and project teams to establish and execute plans, ensuring engagement and accountability while collaborating with HQ and key stakeholders. Responsibilities include hosting community events, supporting customer engagements, and representing Mortenson at relevant meetings and events. Supplier development duties involve organizing events to connect small, local, and diverse‑owned businesses, maintaining relationships with trade partners, and leading mentorship programs to build partner capacity. Workforce inclusion tasks focus on fostering belonging for craft team members and delivering related programming. External engagement requires representing Mortenson in the community, maintaining a positive public profile, liaising with regulatory agencies, and overseeing accurate submission of applications and reports. What You Bring

Qualified candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, External Relations, Human Resources or a related field, with at least five years of relevant experience, including construction and stakeholder interaction. They possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and project‑management skills, are proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis, and demonstrate inclusive leadership and effective communication. • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, External Relations, Human Resources or related field. • Minimum five years of relevant experience, preferably in construction and contracting. • Proven ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. • Strong relationship‑building, influencing, and cross‑cultural communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and project‑management capabilities. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and data analysis/reporting. • Demonstrated track record of inclusive team leadership, coaching, and performance management. • Active listening and effective written, verbal, and presentation communication.

The position offers a base salary ranging from $81,200 to $121,800 (higher in select locations) and eligibility for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
