About the Role
• Oversee daily execution of strategic initiatives, align with goals, and meet milestones. • Manage CTO follow‑ups, track KPIs, and resolve blockers. • Lead or support planning and execution of high‑priority projects, maintaining timelines and stakeholder communication. • Coordinate cross‑departmental accountability and progress. • Build and maintain Excel dashboards to monitor operational performance and support decision‑making. • Prepare executive briefing materials, agendas, and follow‑ups. • Facilitate inter‑departmental collaboration and proactively manage dependencies. • Provide excellent health, dental, and vision coverage starting day 1. • Enroll new members automatically in the HGV Retirement Savings Plan.

What You Bring
The Director of IT Operational Planning will serve as a strategic and operational partner to the CTO and executive leadership team, driving execution across cross‑functional initiatives. This role requires a strong operational mindset, disciplined project management, and the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights using Excel and PowerPoint. A bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of experience in operations, project management, or strategic planning are required. PMP or a similar certification is a plus, and candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and strong organizational and communication skills. Experience collaborating with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams is essential. • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, charts, dashboards) and PowerPoint for executive presentations. • Strong organizational and communication abilities; manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. • Experience working with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams. • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
