About the Role
The role involves coordinating field work and personnel, reducing notes, and performing calculations for projects. It also includes executing all phases of construction staking. • Coordinate field work and personnel, making project-based decisions. • Supervise survey crew and communicate performance expectations. • Lead staff by setting expectations, providing feedback, identifying training needs, and delivering on-the-job training. • Organize field books and notes. • Execute all phases of construction layout and interact with Revit models. • Provide scheduling feedback to the survey manager. • Perform required calculations for layout, quantities, etc. • Use telephone, computer, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis for communication. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Occasionally climb stairs or ladders. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Interact with people regularly throughout the shift. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects. • Sit, stand, or walk short distances for the duration of a shift. • Safety-Sensitive role involving operation of vehicles, equipment, machinery, power tools, and handling of hazardous or combustible materials.

What You Bring
• Understand GPS and survey equipment operation. • Minimum qualifications: 5 years field layout experience, strong communication skills, NICET certification. • Wear required PPE (steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.). • Frequently reach above shoulder height and below waist; occasionally stoop, kneel, or bend.
