About the Role
The position provides cost management services from inception to completion, supporting specific areas or disciplines with strong technical and functional capabilities. Responsibilities include feasibility studies, procurement strategy, cost planning, contract administration and driving continuous improvement. • Conduct feasibility studies and advise on procurement strategies and contract selection. • Apply value‑management techniques at project outset. • Manage estimating and cost‑planning activities, presenting final cost plans. • Assist in procurement and selection of main contractors. • Prepare contract documents, warranties, bonds and licences, and support their execution. • Advise on administration of building contract terms. • Measure work, provide valuations and adjust variations in line with contract terms. • Deliver cost control and reporting services throughout the contract period. • Prepare client financial reports at required frequencies. • Identify costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities and client charges. • Participate in evaluating contractor claims for delays and additional costs. • Advise on certificates of practical completion and negotiate final accounts. • Drive improvements in systems and processes, leading transformational change. • Provide guidance, mentorship and training to junior cost consultants and team members. • Develop and manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Support net‑zero carbon transition by identifying and managing associated emissions.

What You Bring
• Hold a degree in quantity surveying or cost management and work towards MRICS/RICS membership. • Demonstrate strong understanding of sustainability, social value and carbon reduction. • Possess proven experience in cost consultancy, budgeting, estimating and contract administration. • Exhibit negotiation, analytical, digital competency and effective communication skills.

The estimated salary ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 USD and Mace promotes an inclusive workplace, encouraging candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.
