About the Role

The role involves selecting and measuring sheet metal, fabricating and installing ductwork, drilling and fastening components, and handling large metal parts both on‑site and in the shop. Installers will also set hangers and ensure ducts are trimmed, fitted, and sealed to specification. • Select appropriate sheet metal per building or design plans • Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets • Hang and fabricate ductwork • Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets • Install and cut metal sheets with supportive frameworks • Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites • Maneuver and anchor large sheet metal parts • Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering • Perform fabrication on‑site or in the shop • Wear proper personal protective equipment • Participate in 401(k) profit‑sharing savings plan
