About the Role

The role is responsible for owning and delivering the group Project Management resourcing strategy, encompassing world‑class PM skills, capability deployment, strategic workforce planning and Do/Buy decisions. It also entails developing and controlling the Performance Management blueprint for top projects, creating the training and capability framework, and ensuring all resourcing methods are fully described, communicated and change‑managed across the organisation. • Lead and implement the group Project Management resourcing strategy and strategic workforce planning. • Design and govern the Performance Management framework for top projects across the organisation. • Develop and roll out a world‑class PM training, capability, and career‑path framework. • Refresh the PM Do/Buy model to deliver a scalable offering for group programmes. • Ensure all resourcing processes are documented, communicated and managed for change.

What You Bring

Rolls‑Royce is seeking a Chief of Project Management Resourcing and Performance Management for its Derby hub, operating in a hybrid model with a minimum of three days on‑site. This senior leadership role reports directly to the Head of Group PM Capability and forms part of the company’s multi‑year transformation programme. Candidates should have more than five years of senior programme management experience, a proven record of delivering complex projects across multiple sectors, and expertise in coaching or change management. A chartered Project Management qualification or equivalent recognised professional status, along with experience in governance, portfolio management and skills development, is preferred. • Minimum 5 years senior programme management experience with multi‑sector project delivery. • Chartered Project Management credential or equivalent recognised professional qualification. • Proven experience in coaching, change management and governance of complex programmes. • Demonstrated ability to build skills and capability development solutions with measurable results.
