About the Role

The Senior Electrical Engineer will develop advanced embedded circuitry and hardware for next‑generation cameras, drones, LiDAR modules, and robotic platforms. Based in Sunnyvale, CA, the role involves designing PCBs, integrating sensors, and delivering solutions that power autonomous 3D capture systems. • Design circuitry, PCBs, and integrate sensors (LiDAR, IMU, GPS, cameras) using Ethernet, SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, and custom protocols. • Lead hardware bring‑up for prototypes and production units. • Optimize performance, power consumption, and reliability of embedded platforms. • Develop system tests and technical roadmaps. • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, perception, and AI teams for hardware‑software integration.

What You Bring

• Diagnose and debug system‑level issues with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and accelerometers. • Hold BS/MS/PhD in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Robotics) from accredited in‑person university. • Possess 5+ years of embedded systems experience, preferably in robotics, aerospace, or automotive. • Understand control theory basics and EMI robustness best practices. • Demonstrate hands‑on prototyping (“maker”) mindset and first‑principles problem solving. • Preferred: firmware development, control systems experience (PID, ESC, PWM, motor drivers), C/C++ proficiency for microcontrollers, Python scripting for test automation. • No visa sponsorship; open to U.S. candidates eligible to work full‑time.
