Job Highlights
About the Role
• Work under direct supervision of an assigned Construction Supervisor. • Perform all steel pipe welding and fabrication for natural gas installations, including gas mains, service installations, live‑gas taps, compressor facilities, regulator stations, meter set fabrication, production well facilities, and maintenance tasks, complying with company specifications. • Maintain the welding vehicle, welding machine, tools, and equipment in safe, fully operational condition. • Keep accurate records and timely reports for the commercial motor vehicle per DOT and company policies (daily inspections, monthly maintenance reports). • Interpret engineering plans and build to the provided specifications. • Operate independently when immediate supervision is not available. • Record accurate as‑built information on engineering plans. • Perform plastic fusion in compliance with company specifications. • Carry out additional natural gas construction duties as required by Operator Qualification certifications.
