About the Role

The manager is responsible for ensuring the team follows standard processes, procedures, safety requirements and quality‑management systems. They will implement the LOM engineering process in line with the global framework and foster close collaboration with operating units. Forecasting and resource planning for upcoming projects and tenders will be coordinated with OU Engineering Managers. Team organization, staffing, budgeting and KPI monitoring are key duties, along with handling performance management, training, and conflict resolution. The manager will drive daily and weekly Scrum meetings, maintain compliance with internal and external regulations, and continuously identify improvement areas. • Lead a team of Project Technical Engineers to deliver high-quality, on-time engineering deliverables. • Ensure compliance with standard processes, procedures, safety requirements, and QMS. • Implement LOM Engineering process aligned with the global framework. • Coordinate project and tender planning with Operating Unit Engineering Managers. • Manage team organization, staffing, budgeting, and resource planning for new projects/tenders. • Monitor internal and external KPIs to keep them on track. • Oversee tender engineering support and delivery. • Conduct performance management, set targets, provide feedback, and develop team competencies. • Identify and implement improvement areas within the team. • Facilitate training, development, and conflict resolution for team members. • Drive Scrum, daily/weekly follow‑up meetings, and ensure regulatory compliance.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates hold a master’s in power systems with at least eight years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s in electrical and electronics with ten years, and possess deep substation project engineering knowledge, including Hitachi Energy product expertise. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and English language skills are required, as is the ability to work in a multicultural environment and adopt new engineering tools.
