About the Role
Core responsibilities include interacting with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, and fellow engineers to produce permit‑ready and construction‑ready electrical drawings using CAD/BIM tools. The modeler will create and manage project folders, ensure designs meet contract scope, specifications, and InPwr drafting standards, and review supplier drawings for NEC clearance compliance. They will also develop installation details, prepare as‑built drawings from field red‑line markups, and support BIM implementation and coordination across the project team. • Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, and engineers. • Manage project/design job folders and uphold InPwr drafting standards. • Review supplier drawings for NEC compliance and integrate them into designs. • Prepare accurate as‑built drawings from field red‑line markups. • Assist BIM implementation and support project‑team coordination.

What You Bring
The Senior Electrical BIM Modeler role is remote, with an initial onsite orientation, and reports to the ADMIN department. The position calls for a detail‑oriented professional who can work independently while also thriving in a team environment. Candidates must have a minimum of ten years of experience in CAD electrical design or electrical construction, along with a bachelor's degree in engineering or completion of an IEC apprenticeship. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; expertise in Revit, Navisworks, SKM, and optional lighting software such as AGi32 is valued. Additional, optional skills include sustainable design knowledge, project‑management software experience, and occasional construction‑site visits for model verification. Employment is contingent upon background investigation, drug and alcohol screening, E‑Verify, and driving‑record checks.
