About the Role
The Driver‑CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering prompt, courteous waste removal services, while ensuring the vehicle meets the company’s safety standards and all regulations are followed. The role includes completing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reporting safety issues, operating the truck’s manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste, and monitoring vehicle condition to minimize downtime. Drivers must interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for prohibited items, clean spills safely, and maintain required productivity and reporting standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs. • Safely operate collection truck on assigned routes, load refuse, operate compactor, and dispose at designated sites. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and crew to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers; monitor waste for prohibited items and clean spills per safety standards. • Keep vehicle clean, monitor condition, and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime. • Complete route productivity sheets, reports, and adhere to productivity standards. • Maintain compliance with company, state, and federal regulations and participate in the ReSOP safety program.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications include a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with air‑brake endorsement, strong customer service, time‑management, and a commitment to safety and company policies. • Hold a valid Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with air‑brake endorsement. • Demonstrate strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through skills.
