Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property Managers work independently across multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside the facilities. Responsibilities include assessing customers’ storage needs, recommending and selling packing and moving supplies, performing daily unit inspections, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and handling payment reminders and collection calls. The role requires the ability to lift or move items up to 35 pounds and to walk throughout the facility, spending up to half of the shift in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors. Daily tasks also involve cleaning, sweeping, mopping interior areas, and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal free of debris. • Assess customer storage needs and recommend solutions, including packing and moving supplies. • Conduct daily unit inspections to ensure inventory accuracy and availability. • Audit cash drawers, prepare bank deposits, and manage customer payment reminders and collections. • Transport items up to 35 lb and walk/stand in facility areas up to 50% of the shift, including outdoor tasks. • Perform cleaning and basic maintenance of interiors and exterior grounds.

A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required for traveling between sites, with mileage reimbursement available.
