About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the Commercial Manager will act as the commercial lead for a portfolio of residential and mixed‑use development projects, overseeing all commercial and contractual activities from pre‑construction through to completion while ensuring value for money, effective risk management, and compliance with the Procurement Act and Clarion’s governance procedures. Key responsibilities include leading pre‑ and post‑contract commercial activities, providing expert advice to Development and Project Managers, ensuring compliance with internal frameworks and legislation, and shaping procurement strategy to meet commercial objectives. • Lead commercial and contractual activities for residential and mixed‑use projects from pre‑construction through completion. • Ensure value for money, robust risk management, and compliance with the Procurement Act and internal governance. • Provide expert commercial advice to Development and Project Managers and influence procurement strategy. • Manage cost control, valuations, variations and final account negotiations using PAMWIN/M3Pamwin Lite. • Utilise procurement systems, preferably Atamis, to support efficient project delivery. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. • Travel to regional sites as required and attend the London office at least three days per week.

What You Bring

The successful candidate will have proven commercial management experience in residential or mixed‑use development, preferably from a developer, contractor, or consultancy background, and be proficient with procurement systems (ideally Atamis) and cost management tools such as PAMWIN/M3Pamwin Lite, including valuations, variations, and final account negotiations. This hybrid role requires attendance at the London office at least three days per week, regular travel to regional sites, and adherence to Clarion’s AI recruitment guidelines. Benefits
