You will produce base maps, sign‑off sheets, and land‑use plans, and apply BIM best practices to improve design efficiency while working closely with multidisciplinary teams. • Develop detailed BIM models and layouts with urban planners and architects. • Ensure compliance with authority approvals (e.g., DM, DDA). • Create base maps, sign‑off sheets, plot development guidelines, and land‑use plans from collected data. • Use AutoCAD to produce and manage accurate project layouts. • Apply BIM workflows, standards, and best practices to improve design efficiency. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and incorporate feedback into BIM models.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking a talented BIM Specialist to join our team. The specialist will translate urban planning concepts into detailed and accurate digital representations, supporting the creation of comprehensive building information models for urban projects. Successful candidates will have at least six years of BIM experience in urban planning or architecture, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, and strong proficiency with AutoCAD. A solid understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and standards is essential, and attention to detail, problem‑solving, and effective communication are highly valued. • Minimum 6 years BIM experience in urban planning or architecture. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. • Proficiency in AutoCAD. • Strong understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and standards. • High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities. • Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines. • Familiarity with urban planning concepts and terminology (preferred).
