About the Role
The technician will execute comprehensive quality control operations across various manufacturing stages, conduct detailed product inspections and measurements, analyze quality data to spot potential production issues, implement contingency plans, suggest process improvements, and maintain accurate inspection records. • Execute quality control procedures at multiple manufacturing stages following established protocols. • Perform product inspections, measurements, and documentation to meet corporate and customer standards. • Analyze quality data, identify potential production issues, and recommend corrective actions. • Develop contingency plans and drive process improvements based on test findings. • Operate High Pot test set, current injector, Megger insulation resistance meter, multimeter, relay test set, and corona test set. • Conduct troubleshooting, failure analysis, and validation of test procedures for electrical equipment. • Interpret schematics and maintain accurate quality control records with minimal supervision.

What You Bring
Schneider Electric is seeking a Quality Test Technician for the 3rd shift (10 PM to 6:30 AM) at its Mt Juliet, TN facility. The role requires a solid background in testing low and medium voltage products and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of electrical equipment, be proficient with High Pot test sets, current injectors, Megger insulation resistance meters, multimeters, relay test sets, and corona test sets, and be capable of validating and updating technical documents and test procedures. A high school diploma or GED, strong analytical and schematic‑interpretation skills, computer proficiency, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities are also required. The position requires wearing PPE (safety shoes and glasses), standing for extended periods, reaching overhead, climbing ladders, and occasionally lifting up to 26 lb (or 22 lb repeatedly) while working in a manufacturing environment. • Meet physical requirements: wear PPE, stand for long periods, reach overhead, climb ladders, and lift up to 26 lb occasionally. • Possess at least 2 years of relevant testing experience and a high school diploma or GED. • Demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, computer, and communication skills.
