About the Role
The position begins with a comprehensive training program designed to prepare candidates for an outside sales role as a Territory Manager within Hubbell Electrical Solutions (HES). Trainees will learn the functions, features, and benefits of multiple product portfolios across HES brands and practice articulating these to distributors, end users, and specifying influences. During the first nine months to a year, trainees attend product and program training sessions led by Product Managers and Sales Managers. After each module, they deliver a product presentation or mock sales call, receiving immediate feedback from Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and their mentor. When not in formal training, trainees work in an assigned department and shadow district, territory, or business development managers to gain real‑world sales experience. • Complete a comprehensive training program to prepare for a Territory Manager role. • Attend product and program training classes and deliver mock sales presentations. • Work within assigned departments and shadow district, territory, or business development managers. • Undergo a performance review to determine readiness for Territory Management.

What You Bring
Upon completion of the training program, a review assesses the trainee’s readiness for a Territory Management position. Candidates deemed ready interview with sales management as openings become available. The role requires a four‑year college degree, solid proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and mechanical/electrical aptitude. Sales or customer‑service experience, an outgoing sales personality, strong communication and organizational skills, technical aptitude, confidence in speech and demeanor, and demonstrated leadership are also essential. • Hold a four‑year college degree and strong Microsoft Office skills. • Possess mechanical/electrical aptitude and sales or customer‑service experience. • Demonstrate an outgoing sales personality, excellent communication, organization, technical aptitude, and leadership.
