About the Role
The position oversees cost management, logistics and warehousing, and commodity spend. Responsibilities include annual budgeting and target setting, implementing 3PL/4PL strategies across India, and developing sourcing strategies that support a lean supply chain. The role also leads supplier management activities such as evaluation, selection, performance analysis, SWOT and audits, as well as people and team management, performance reviews, and cross‑functional deliverables. • Manage cost, logistics, and warehousing spend across the organization. • Lead annual budgeting, target setting, and performance evaluation. • Design and execute 3PL/4PL sourcing strategies for India. • Drive supplier evaluation, selection, performance analysis, and audits. • Align departmental goals with overall corporate objectives. • Mentor and develop a team of managers, fostering engagement and performance. • Negotiate contracts and sustain supplier relationships. • Ensure compliance with safety, ethics, and quality standards. • Promote continuous learning through training, scholarships, and leadership programs. • Support diversity and equal‑opportunity hiring practices.
