About the Role
In this hands‑on position you will scope, quote, and deliver additional contract works, ensuring each project meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. You will work both independently and collaboratively to meet tight deadlines and exceed client expectations across a range of building and repair tasks. • Deliver minor works projects such as groundworks, civils, drainage, tarmacking, painting, decorating, plastering, carpentry, bricklaying, fencing, plumbing, and roof repairs • Scope, quote, and secure extra contract work to ensure profitability and cost‑effectiveness • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations • Work independently or as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and client expectations

What You Bring
Arcus FM is looking for a multi‑skilled Minor Works Technician to join its growing Field Operations team, covering the West Midlands and surrounding areas. The role offers the chance to take ownership of varied minor works projects while building strong client relationships. • Solid understanding of general construction principles • Proven experience across multiple trades (e.g., plastering, plumbing, carpentry, bricklaying) • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills • Full UK driving licence • Recognised NVQ or equivalent qualification in a trade discipline (desirable)
