About the Role
You will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Development, and Engineering teams to create detailed financial forecasts, assess project viability, and support the financing of Hadron’s first commercial deployments. The role combines rigorous financial analysis with strategic insight into infrastructure development and clean energy finance. The Project Finance Analyst will play a key role in structuring and analyzing the financial performance of Hadron Energy’s reactor deployment projects. This individual will develop project-level economic models, evaluate funding options, and support investment strategies across multiple markets — from industrial and government applications to data center power purchase agreements (PPAs). • Track and report key project finance metrics and progress against budgets and timelines • Support the structuring and execution of financing transactions, including PPAs, lease structures, joint ventures, and public-private partnerships • Analyze capital expenditure (CAPEX), operating expenditure (OPEX), and long-term cost curves across Hadron’s microreactor fleet • Assist in developing pro forma financial statements and sensitivity analyses for investor presentations and board reviews • Build and maintain detailed project finance models to evaluate reactor deployment economics, revenue streams, and return metrics (IRR, NPV, payback, etc.) • Support scenario modeling for multi-unit rollouts and “gigafactory” manufacturing ramp-up • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to translate technical data into financial models • Prepare materials to support investor due diligence, financial closings, and funding applications (DOE, DOD, or state incentive programs) • Evaluate and benchmark financing options such as debt, equity, and hybrid instruments • Conduct market, customer, and policy research to inform project assumptions and financial feasibility

What You Bring
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Finance Analyst, based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City. The position is ideal for candidates with strong financial modeling and analytical backgrounds who are passionate about supporting the commercialization of clean, nuclear-based power solutions. • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders (banks, investors, regulators) • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel, including scenario and sensitivity analysis • 3–7 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure investment, renewable energy, or corporate finance • Strong attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex technical and financial data • Understanding of debt/equity financing, tax incentives, and credit analysis • Experience with valuation techniques, DCF analysis, and capital budgeting • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field • Familiarity with energy project structures such as PPAs, SPVs, or Build-Own-Operate (BOO) models • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
