About the Role
The Superintendent role coordinates on‑site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed ahead of schedule, within budget and to specifications. Duties vary by client and project size, ranging from assisting with planning to directing entire projects. The position is travel‑heavy, with up to 90 % time on site, typically 8‑18 months per assignment, and includes per‑diem and mobilization support. • Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures. • Coordinate and delegate daily site activities of foremen and field personnel to meet production goals. • Manage subcontractor activities and ensure alignment with project schedules. • Work with clients to keep projects on schedule and under budget. • Oversee timely delivery, inspection, and documentation of materials and equipment. • Record and report any material damage or change‑order requests. • Maintain accurate paperwork flow, ensuring all documents are completed, filed, and distributed. • Forecast, order, and schedule necessary materials and equipment to sustain crew productivity. • Apply thorough knowledge of specifications, blueprints, addenda, and change orders to guide work quality. • Identify and resolve contract disputes, recommending actions to upper management. • Recommend and implement best‑practice improvements for production, quality, and safety. • Perform minor job layout tasks using levels, transit, and string line. • Inspect completed work for quality compliance. • Monitor productivity reports and coordinate corresponding payroll records. • Address customer complaints promptly in collaboration with supervisors. • Ensure proper safety equipment is available, functional, and used correctly. • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business. • Facilitate technical and safety training and arrange external training as needed. • Assist HR with interviewing, hiring recommendations, performance appraisals, and employee issue resolution. • Lead, mentor, and manage direct reports on the job site.

What You Bring
The role requires a full‑time schedule of about 50 hours per week, with up to 90 % travel to project sites across the United States. Physical demands include 12‑hour shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, working in varying weather conditions and at heights while wearing required personal protective equipment. • Minimum three years of supervisory experience in construction. • Knowledge of MIC health and safety programs and ability to lead daily toolbox meetings. • Strong understanding of construction tools, machinery, methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading. • Proficient with Microsoft Office, email and internet. • Ability to work under pressure, meet timelines, and communicate effectively with teams and clients. • Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and quantitative analysis skills.
