About the Role

The Eastern Territory Sales Engineer is responsible for specifying and selling all Hubbell Canada products and services across Quebec and the Atlantic Provinces. This role works closely with architects, consultants, engineers, and end‑users to advance product specifications and secure project closures in collaboration with regional and vertical sales teams. Key duties include developing strong networks of specifiers and influencers, generating leads in target verticals, managing the full sales cycle from specification to order placement, and delivering promotional and training initiatives. The engineer also provides rapid, high‑level service to customers, leverages competitive product advantages, and ensures professional representation of Hubbell Canada at industry events. • Develop and maintain relationships with architects, consultants, engineers, specifiers, and influencers in Quebec and Atlantic Provinces. • Generate leads and identify target opportunities in key verticals using sales tools. • Write and document specifications for Hubbell Electrical Solutions (HES) products and manage the sales cycle to order placement. • Promote Hubbell solutions, conduct training, and launch new product initiatives with core specifiers and end users. • Provide high‑service, fast response to customer inquiries, leveraging product competitive advantages. • Represent Hubbell Canada professionally at industry associations, tradeshows, and events with integrity and ethics. • Record, monitor, and report project information in Salesforce; meet daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and quota targets. • Establishes Priorities • Identify and resolve problems promptly; analyze information and develop alternative solutions

What You Bring

Performance is tracked through daily, weekly and monthly reporting in Salesforce, with a focus on meeting quota targets and maintaining accurate regional data.
