About the Role
The Territory Sales Manager – Aggregates for South Wales (based in Caerphilly) will be responsible for growing market share, revenue and profitability across a portfolio of customer accounts. The role offers a salary of £48,000 plus bonus and a company car, and requires implementing a territory sales strategy, building long‑term relationships and identifying value‑add solutions. In this position you will act as the main point of contact for assigned customers, coordinate with sales, operations and logistics teams, and use market data to uncover profitable opportunities. You will also manage project delivery within customer relationships and ensure accurate reporting and record‑keeping in CRM and SAP systems. • Serve as primary contact for assigned customers, executing structured call cycles via face‑to‑face and digital channels. • Maintain Customer Management Plan objectives and align commercial relationships with market strategy. • Coordinate with sales, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless service delivery. • Identify and develop new business opportunities, upsell and cross‑sell to increase share of wallet profitably. • Use market data (e.g., ABI) to pinpoint profitable opportunities and support quote/tender preparation. • Contribute to annual sales budgets and forecasts for the territory. • Forecast, track, and report on account performance and KPIs, ensuring queries stay below 3% of revenue. • Keep CRM and SAP records accurate and up to date, documenting all interactions and plans. • Collaborate with colleagues managing shared accounts to maintain service consistency. • Manage customer projects, balancing client goals with company objectives and providing market insights.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has a strong background in aggregates or construction materials sales, a proven record in territory sales or business development, and excellent relationship‑building, commercial and organisational skills.
