About the Role
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing properties that serve as client facilities and Class A commercial assets. This role blends facility‑management support with commercial property‑management expertise to ensure seamless daily operations and high‑quality service delivery, while building relationships with clients, tenants, vendors, and team members. In this position, the AGM ensures smooth daily operations, coordinates with occupants, vendors, and internal staff, and contributes to financial planning and performance reporting. The role requires a detail‑oriented approach to manage both facility needs and commercial property standards effectively. • Provide overall facility management services and continuously monitor property operations. • Serve as primary day‑to‑day contact for occupants, tenants, and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service. • Manage work orders for in‑house staff and vendors to ensure timely maintenance resolution. • Assist with budget preparation, analysis, and reporting for both facility operations and property management. • Direct vendors, facilities staff, and service providers to coordinate and execute work efficiently. • Conduct regular property inspections to proactively identify and address maintenance issues. • Monitor and report facility performance to the General Manager.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities or property management, 3–5 years of relevant experience—preferably in a corporate or third‑party environment—and strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices. Candidates must demonstrate excellent customer‑service orientation, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Preferred qualifications are industry certifications such as FMA, RPA, SMA, or LEED credentials, experience with Class A properties, integrated facility‑property management software, basic financial understanding, and exceptional organizational abilities. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities or property management. • 3–5 years of experience in facility or property management, preferably in a corporate or third‑party setting. • Strong knowledge of building systems, operations, and maintenance practices. • Proven customer‑service orientation and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. • Preferred certifications: FMA, RPA, SMA, LEED Green Associate or LEED AP. • Experience with Class A commercial properties and integrated facility/property management software. • Basic understanding of financial principles for budgeting and cost control. • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

The position is based onsite in New York, NY, with an estimated salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 per year. Benefits include a 401(k) plan with company matching, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid parental leave at 100 % of salary, paid time off, company holidays, and early wage access through Daily Pay.
