About the Role

The Maintenance Technician A works under a Lead Technician, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager to repair and maintain diesel and non‑diesel equipment and trucks. Responsibilities include work on chassis components, refuse bodies (control, hydraulic, and electrical systems), air brake systems, engine repair, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems. The role offers the chance to work on a single fleet with state‑of‑the‑art equipment, receive training on new technologies, and enjoy a stable shift schedule. Key duties involve performing complex repairs both on‑site and on the road, including chassis component repair, refuse body systems, air and hydraulic braking, engine maintenance, suspension, drivetrain, steering, HVAC, and line‑maintenance welding and fabrication. The technician must diagnose malfunctions using electronic tools, complete required company training, and carry out other job‑related tasks as assigned.

What You Bring

Candidates need at least three years of experience servicing heavy‑duty trucks and must be able to inspect and repair systems such as suspensions, steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrain, and diesel emissions without supervision. ASE Heavy Truck certifications (T1‑T8), LNG/CNG experience, and a Class B CDL are preferred but not required. A valid driver’s license is required.
