About the Role

• Perform maintenance and repair on series 1600 and 4000 applications per manuals. • Assist in assembly and preparation of 199 and 2000 applications. • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and diagnostics. • Conduct engine and component inspections and cleaning. • Identify cost‑reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities. • Collaborate with the lean team to implement process improvements. • Use special tools and measuring equipment as needed. • Complete required process documentation. • Follow all health and safety regulations. • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in production areas. • Operate plant machinery to manoeuvre products and materials. • Attend training courses to enhance performance. • Manage tickets, recording material and labour hours accurately and prioritise their completion. • Perform any other production or facilities tasks assigned by management.

What You Bring

The role is physically demanding and may require the operation of plant machinery, forklift, tow‑truck or crane, with training provided as needed. • Achieve a monthly utilisation rate of 85% or higher. • NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance/Engineering. • Strong mechanical knowledge with basic troubleshooting skills. • Proven ability to identify cost‑saving and efficiency measures. • Excellent teamwork and ability to foster a positive work environment. • Strong organisational skills and attention to cleanliness. • Safe operation of machinery. • Reliable, dependable and timely work habits. • Computer literate with Windows and iOS proficiency. • Fluent written and spoken English. • Competent literacy and numeracy. • Full clean UK driving licence and UK passport. • Experience operating forklift, tow truck or crane (training provided). • Willingness to be trained on SAP C4S, 3C’s, MTU Go!Care and MTU Business Portal.
