About the Role

The driver/operator safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, performing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, loading and unloading containers, and ensuring customer sites are left clean and orderly. This role has no supervisory duties, but the driver works closely with Operations Managers and Dispatch to improve route efficiency, report incidents, and address customer requests. • Operate vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT and all local, state and federal regulations. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and record issues. • Report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, injuries or property damage to Operations Manager or Dispatch immediately. • Participate in scheduled training, briefings and meetings as required. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and address unsafe accounts. • Assist other drivers and perform duties assigned by Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Fully empty containers, clean the site, and position containers upright with lids secured, ensuring they do not block driveways. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Follow assigned route throughout the day and submit all required documentation at route check‑in. • Maintain an acceptable driving record.

Applicants must hold a Commercial Driver’s License (Class B), be at least 18 years old, pass a DOT drug screen, physical and background check, and maintain an acceptable driving record. A REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative may be required for travel. • Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B); must be 18 years or older. • Pass pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical examination and background check, including motor‑vehicle record review.
