About the Role
The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist will lead organizational excellence by identifying, designing, analyzing, implementing and refining core business processes. The role develops continuous‑improvement plans aligned with PGE’s strategic objectives, engages stakeholders, and drives change‑management initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and environmental stewardship for our 900,000 customers. • Meet with supervisors and managers to analyze business needs and identify cross‑functional improvement initiatives. • Scope initiatives, forecast benefits and resources, prioritize needs, and develop departmental continuous‑improvement plans. • Plan, implement and monitor improvement projects, establishing goals, success metrics, acceptance criteria and risk mitigation. • Develop and execute communication and change‑management strategies, providing timely status reports to stakeholders. • Assess impacts of process, technology, organizational and policy changes on midsize to moderately complex projects. • Design, maintain, and archive project documentation, facilitating lessons‑learned sessions and ensuring regulatory compliance. • Apply advanced process‑improvement and business‑reengineering expertise, coupled with intermediate systems‑thinking and group problem‑solving techniques.

What You Bring
The position requires frequent travel within the service territory, occasional overnight trips, and regular computer work. Physical demands include lifting or pushing up to 10 lb and navigating stairs, while cognitive demands involve meeting deadlines, problem‑solving under stress and collaborating across teams. Work schedules can be variable, include on‑call duties and may require attendance during severe weather. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, organizational development, psychology or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Have at least five years of experience in project management, change management, process improvement or consulting. • Prefer certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, CBPP, CCIM, or PROSCI. • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of project, change and process‑improvement methodologies and intermediate software proficiency. • Exhibit strong analytical, strategic thinking, consulting and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate. • Utilize strategic thinking, risk management, presentation, facilitation and conflict‑resolution abilities. • Communicate effectively in writing and orally, maintaining strong organization and prioritization capabilities.
