About the Role
WSP is hiring a Regional CAD & Digital Delivery Manager for its Buffalo, NY office to lead the Northeast regional transportation and infrastructure digital delivery and CAD operations. The role will coordinate staff and project workflows, set standards, provide training, and act as a liaison between project managers, local Technical Excellence Center managers, and CAD managers to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks. The manager will provide technical leadership for 3‑D computer‑aided design (CADD) modeling and drafting, develop and enforce WSP policies and best practices, and work closely with project managers, TEC leads, and the National Digital Delivery team to streamline workflows. Responsibilities include reviewing team deliverables, guiding staffing assignments and delivery schedules, creating workflow documentation, and ensuring compliance with NYSDOT standards, ProjectWise architecture, and QA/QC procedures. • Lead Northeast regional CAD and digital delivery functions for transportation projects. • Coordinate staff, workflows, and design standards to ensure high‑quality outputs. • Provide technical guidance and review of 3‑D CADD modeling and drafting work. • Create and enforce WSP policies, best practices, and workflow documentation. • Partner with project managers, TEC leads, and the National Digital Delivery team to optimize processes. • Mentor and train team members across junior to senior levels. • Ensure adherence to NYSDOT standards, ProjectWise architecture, and rigorous QA/QC protocols. • Oversee staffing plans, delivery schedules, and complex multi‑phase design initiatives.

What You Bring
A successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least ten years of civil transportation infrastructure experience, and ten years supervising design and managing CAD operations. Required skills include strong leadership, communication, and expertise with Bentley ProjectWise, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, and advanced 3‑D roadway modeling, as well as a deep understanding of NYSDOT standards and digital delivery processes. • Require 10+ years civil transportation infrastructure experience and 10+ years as a design supervisor/CAD manager. • Must be proficient with Bentley ProjectWise, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, and advanced 3‑D roadway modeling.
