About the Role
Housekeeping staff are responsible for maintaining clean and welcoming guest rooms. Daily tasks include changing linens, vacuuming, dusting furniture, removing fingerprints from surfaces, and thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, while ensuring rooms are set up according to standards and reporting any damage or missing items promptly. • Change bed linens daily • Dust all furniture, including frames, lamps, TVs, and dressers • Remove fingerprints and smudges from mirrors, shiny surfaces, and windows • Thoroughly clean bathrooms (shower stall, sink, floor, toilet, etc.) • Ensure standard room set-up is followed • Report any damage found in rooms immediately • Report missing items or personal guest items found in vacant rooms immediately • Deliver lost-and-found items to the Executive Housekeeper promptly • Assist housekeepers with additional cleaning tasks as assigned • Interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly manner • Stand and walk for prolonged periods; frequently pull, push, and bend • Perform repetitive cleaning and folding motions for long durations
