About the Role

Assemblers are responsible for assembling pre‑ and sub‑assembly components, performing ground‑bond testing, and packing completed electrical systems using hand tools and PIV equipment while complying with work‑cell codes and standards. The position requires reading blueprints, Manufacturing Tracking System (MTS) and On‑Floor Sheets (OFS), collaborating with quality teams to resolve product issues, and participating in daily toolbox meetings and shop‑floor management programs such as Tier 1, 5S, and Material Review Board (MRB). • Assemble mechanical components according to MTS work instructions or On‑Floor Sheets. • Utilize PIV equipment for crating and packing of completed assemblies. • Perform basic rework on assemblies when defects are identified. • Drive continuous improvement through Tier 1, 5S, and cross‑training initiatives. • Participate in Level I on‑the‑job training and cross‑training for Level II assembly tasks. • Use basic computer applications to maintain product documentation and compliance. • Communicate effectively to prevent defects and support quality initiatives. • Train coworkers on product configurations and promote knowledge transfer.

What You Bring

Candidates must have basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills, effective communication, and the ability to train others; a high school diploma or GED is required, with 0‑1 year production experience preferred and 1+ year manufacturing experience considered a plus. • Demonstrate teamwork, follow directions promptly, and adapt to multiple production areas. • Hold a high school diploma or GED; 0‑1 year of production assembly experience required. • Preferred: 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment.
