About the Role

The Maintenance Supervisor for Multifamily properties at Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for delivering quality maintenance support and ensuring resident satisfaction. The role focuses on providing seamless move‑in experiences, timely service responses, and personal attention to residents. The supervisor prepares market‑ready apartments, completing tasks such as painting, carpet cleaning, repairs and housekeeping to present a high‑quality product. They address resident service requests promptly and manage on‑call emergency procedures. A broad knowledge base—including plumbing, HVAC, pool maintenance, carpentry, electrical work, painting, caulking, snow removal and life‑safety issues—is required to maintain grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas and dog parks. Additionally, they schedule and document preventative maintenance while reporting any budget‑impacting issues to management. • Prepare market‑ready apartments (painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, housekeeping). • Respond promptly to resident service requests and on‑call emergencies. • Perform and oversee maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, pool, carpentry, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal and life‑safety issues. • Maintain clean, safe grounds, common areas, pools/hot tubs, and dog parks. • Report budget‑impacting maintenance issues such as life‑safety concerns, vacant repairs, and property damage. • Schedule, execute, and document preventative maintenance activities. • Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal housing codes and company safety policies. • Provide superior customer service and represent Cushman & Wakefield professionally.

What You Bring

The position demands flexibility to work any shift from Sunday to Saturday and requires a valid driver’s license, with CPO and EPA‑608 Type II certification when mandated by local regulations. Candidates must possess at least three years of related experience, a high school diploma, GED or technical/vocational training, and basic math proficiency for measurements and calculations. All employees are expected to follow Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and uphold professional customer service standards. The role operates in a professional office setting while also requiring regular travel between properties under varying weather conditions. Physical demands include extended standing and walking, climbing stairs or ladders, lifting up to 100 lb, and being on‑site up to 10 % of the time. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones and filing systems are used daily. • Work any shift (Sunday‑Saturday) and possess a valid driver’s license; CPO and EPA‑608 Type II certifications as required. • Demonstrate basic math skills for measurements, rates, ratios and bar‑graph interpretation. • Minimum 3 years related experience and a high school diploma, GED or technical/vocational training. • Ability to lift up to 100 lb, stand/walk for extended periods, and travel between properties up to 10 % of time.
