About the Role

As the on‑site project leader you will plan, execute and complete assigned projects, ensuring client satisfaction, timely delivery and budget compliance. You will define client requirements, produce documentation, schedules, specifications and drawings, and coordinate communication with customers and subcontractors throughout all phases. You will manage a portfolio of mechanical and electrical contractors, oversee cost procurement, budgeting, and ensure compliance with health, safety and fire regulations. You will monitor installation quality, maintain project records, and provide technical support to other departments. You will conduct pre‑job meetings, set agendas, circulate minutes, and ensure all team members understand objectives and roles. You will track project timelines, milestones, and change orders, and produce progress reports for management. You will verify certifications and financial documentation, and ensure proper project closeout according to contract terms. • Lead on‑site projects, planning, execution and delivery while ensuring client satisfaction, schedule and budget adherence. • Delegate tasks, coordinate client communication and manage subcontractor performance throughout project phases. • Capture client requirements, produce schedules, specifications, schematics and tender documentation. • Manage Mechanical & Electrical contractor portfolio, oversee procurement, cost analysis and budgeting. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire regulations and company policies on‑site. • Verify certifications, maintain project records and provide cross‑department technical support. • Conduct pre‑job meetings, set agendas, distribute minutes and monitor change orders and scope. • Generate progress reports and analysis for senior management decision‑making.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power, Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least eight years of experience in construction, design and cost management as an Electrical/Mechanical Project Manager in commercial, institutional or industrial settings. Knowledge of HVAC systems, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, and estimation software (Accubid, MEP) is required. Experience managing large projects valued at N10 million+ and strong estimating, site surveying, sequencing and electrical systems expertise are preferred. Equivalent training, education and experience may be considered. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. • Possess minimum eight years experience as Electrical/Mechanical Project Manager in commercial/industrial projects. • Demonstrate HVAC knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office and estimation software (Accubid, MEP). • Experience managing projects valued at N10 million+ and strong estimating, site surveying and sequencing skills.
