About the Role
The engineer will execute large, complex projects, delivering planning, design, systems engineering, technical assistance, program and construction management, and operations support. Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, clients, and site personnel, applying safety policies, and managing cost, schedule, and quality within AECOM’s Quality Management System. • Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. • Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. • Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. • Identifies discrepancies in results. • Provides guidance to entry level engineers. • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications are a BA/BS in Civil Engineering with at least two years of relevant experience and a valid U.S. driver’s license. Preferred credentials include a master’s degree, three or more years of environmental investigation and site remediation experience, leadership of remediation technical efforts, familiarity with CERCLA and RCRA programs, OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification, and strong technical writing and Microsoft Office skills. • Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
