About the Role

• Prepare Part 213 regulated reports, including Final Assessment, Closure, Environmental License Agreements, and Public Highway Institutional Controls. • Lead field teams for air, soil vapor, soil, and groundwater sampling, geologic logging, and data interpretation. • Develop remedial approaches for soil and groundwater, creating feasibility studies, removal action work plans, and design plans. • Analyze data and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Create work plans, cost estimates, compile and analyze data, and produce project reports. • Draft proposals and cost estimates for new business opportunities. • Direct and oversee contractors (laboratory, drillers, surveyors, excavation) during fieldwork. • Coordinate with site facilities, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders. • Plan health and safety measures and conduct hazard recognition. • Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory case managers, colleagues, and sub‑contractors.

What You Bring

The company is seeking a Mid‑Level Geologist or Environmental Scientist for its Novi, Michigan remediation team. The role will contribute immediately to ongoing projects and offers a pathway toward becoming an Environmental Project Manager, working alongside technical leaders across multiple practice areas. • Minimum qualifications: B.S. in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science/engineering or related field; 4+ years in environmental remediation consulting (or equivalent); U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid driver’s license and successful background check. • Preferred qualifications: 2 years of task or assistant project management experience; experience with Part 213 reporting; OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification; proven record in field sampling, data analysis, report writing, cost estimating, proposal development, and project execution; ability to implement rigorous safety standards; experience with remediation systems (SVE, excavation, ISCO, etc.) and various remedial strategies; strong research, written and verbal communication, quality and time management skills; self‑starter attitude, attention to detail, and interest in business development activities.
