About the Role

All Water Environment team members engage directly with clients and handle commercial aspects, while health, safety, and environmental considerations underpin the work. As a senior geomorphologist you will coach junior staff, coordinate multi‑discipline teams, and ensure compliance with CDM regulations. • Lead geomorphology and river restoration projects from planning through delivery. • Manage detailed design, construction supervision, and CDM compliance for river works. • Conduct hydraulic, sediment transport, and geomorphological modelling. • Coordinate multi‑discipline teams and serve as primary client liaison. • Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members. • Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met on all projects.

What You Bring

The role is for an experienced Geomorphologist and River Restoration Project Lead within the UK Water team, working with regulators, water companies, wildlife trusts, and developers. You will be responsible for high‑quality delivery of planning, modelling, design, and construction supervision for sustainable river restoration schemes. • Degree in geography, physical sciences, engineering, or related field. • Proven experience in river restoration and project delivery. • Strong communication, engagement, and leadership skills with stakeholders.
