About the Role

In this role you will manage the full apartment rental cycle, from attracting and assessing potential residents to completing lease documentation and overseeing move‑in procedures, while maintaining direct interaction with both prospects and current residents. • Create applicant files, verify qualifications, and submit applications for approval. • Lead prospects through vacant and model apartments, highlighting features and benefits. • Process all applicant information within 24 hours. • Schedule lease signings and complete lease agreements promptly. • Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, and stakeholders. • Walk tour paths and inspect vacant units to ensure readiness for showing. • Track traffic, availability, and resident interactions daily to sustain high occupancy. • Promote resident retention programs and maintain excellent resident relations. • Support team goals and assist with property tasks as needed; demonstrate flexibility with hours. • Research surrounding community and competition to enhance marketing strategies. • Assist in mailings, distribute flyers, and shop competitive properties. • Follow up with prospective residents at least five times and respond promptly to calls and emails. • Adhere to Fair Housing Laws and all company policies for compliance.

We seek a dedicated individual with a customer‑focused attitude and proactive approach to deliver an exceptional leasing experience for current and prospective residents. We expect candidates to have prior customer service experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, a sales‑oriented mindset, and the ability to comply with Fair Housing laws. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required; leasing or sales experience is a plus. • Prior customer service experience required; leasing or sales experience is a plus. • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance may be required for travel. • High school diploma or GED; or 1‑3 months related experience/training, or equivalent combination. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for resident and staff interaction. • Strong sales focus with ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Benefits

The position offers a base pay of $15‑$17 per hour, $100 new‑lease commissions, shared renewal commissions, and a quarterly $300 Morgan Essentials award.
