About the Role

The Senior Marketing Coordinator role supports business development and brand initiatives across HDR’s transportation practice. Responsibilities include creating proposal content, managing client relationship data, supporting strategic growth plans, producing digital and social media assets, and coordinating internal and external events. The position also mentors staff and helps articulate HDR’s capabilities to win market share. • Support pursuit teams by developing persuasive proposals and interview materials. • Monitor client and industry websites for solicitation status updates. • File and archive proposal and presentation materials after submission. • Manage client relationship and financial data to inform reporting metrics and dashboards. • Maintain accurate project and resume information in business development systems. • Coordinate professional photography for project documentation. • Assist in developing and implementing annual and long‑term strategic growth initiatives. • Create and execute client plans to capture market share and solicit formal feedback. • Administer go/no‑go decision processes according to HDR’s Matrix of Authority. • Lead content‑marketing campaigns to strengthen HDR’s brand and showcase thought leadership. • Produce engaging digital content and implement social‑media campaigns. • Develop marketing collateral to support business development and conference sponsorships. • Plan, coordinate, and execute large internal meetings, both in‑person and virtual. • Maintain inventory of branded materials for client visits, conferences and recruiting. • Train and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practices.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry procurement process, and willingness to travel for in‑person engagement. Required qualifications are at least two years of relevant experience, excellent written and verbal communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign, and a self‑starter attitude capable of delivering projects with limited oversight. • Articulate HDR’s capabilities and competitive advantages to external audiences. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, deep A/E/C procurement knowledge, and willingness to travel. • Required: Minimum two years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign, and a self‑starter attitude.
