About the Role

• Regulate and renew company policies (Health & Safety, Environment, Alcohol/Drug, fatigue, oil spill, inspection, chemical handling). • Develop and communicate an Emergency Response Plan. • Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and job safety analyses. • Perform frequent site and equipment inspections to control risks such as noise, gases, rotating machinery, unsafe tools, lifting equipment, chemicals, and pressure systems. • Investigate accidents and enforce corrective and preventive actions. • Maintain a CAPA tracker for investigation findings. • Organize training on first aid, hot work, height work, confined space, ammonia plant, lifting equipment, electrical safety, material handling, lockout/tagout, firefighting, and housekeeping. • Hold regular safety meetings to identify HSSEQ issues and solutions. • Compile daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual HSSE statistics. • Ensure safe evacuation of personnel and equipment. • Prepare safety budget and financial projections. • Arrange medical fitness tests and safety inductions for new hires and visitors. • Communicate safety information in languages understood by employees. • Ensure safe storage, handling, and use of chemicals, hydrocarbons, heavy equipment, and dangerous goods. • Plan and safely execute shutdown jobs on plant and machinery. • Conduct mock drills (fire, stretcher, BOP, evacuation). • Track fire and safety statistics; inspect firefighting equipment, first aid stations, ambulances, gas detectors. • Inspect fire‑fighting equipment and all safety facilities regularly. • Perform internal audits and support external audit teams. • Track and implement fatality‑related recommendations. • Implement DuPont Safety Management system. • Conduct 5S implementations and maintain audit trackers.
