About the Role

The Assistant Property Manager at The Jaunt is responsible for keeping the multifamily communities market‑ready while delivering a high level of resident service. This role also focuses on building and motivating high‑performing teams to maximize property performance. Key duties include assisting the Property Manager with day‑to‑day operations such as maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. The Assistant Property Manager also ensures superior customer service and communication with residents and prospects, completes lease paperwork, tracks advertising effectiveness, and models the Cushman & Wakefield mission on site. • Maintain community standards and high‑level resident service. • Assist Property Manager with operations: maintenance, capital projects, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. • Deliver superior customer service and communication to boost satisfaction, renewals, and revenue. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork according to company standards. • Track advertising performance and prospect traffic. • Uphold Cushman & Wakefield mission and ensure compliance with policies. • Supervise on‑site team: hiring, coaching, and performance management. • Maintain resident files and resolve conflicts promptly. • Manage community budget and collaborate with leasing staff to meet marketing goals. • Set leasing goals, coach staff, and improve team performance.

What You Bring

The position requires strong communication and customer service skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet navigation, and solid office, bookkeeping, and sales abilities. Responsibilities also involve setting leasing goals, coaching staff, supervising daily team activities, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates must have at least three years of property management experience and one year of supervisory experience. The role operates in a professional office environment with standard equipment and may require travel between properties in varied weather conditions. Physical demands include extended standing and walking, climbing stairs or ladders, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, and up to 15% travel time. • Demonstrate effective communication, customer service, and computer proficiency (MS Office, internet). • Education: high school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred. • Experience: minimum 3 years property management, 1 year supervisory experience. • Physical requirements: stand/walk extended periods, climb stairs/ladders, lift up to 25 lb, travel up to 15% of time.
