About the Role

During the internship you will be part of a high‑functioning team, receiving mentorship from experienced engineers while contributing to design services for a variety of projects. The role emphasizes collaboration, and the majority of interns convert to full‑time positions after graduation. • Create engineering and construction drawings using MicroStation or AutoCAD. • Perform basic engineering calculations and input data into analysis software. • Participate in field assignments, including roadway and highway inspections. • Review drawings, proofread reports, and provide engineering support throughout project phases.

What You Bring

• Currently enrolled in an ABET‑accredited civil engineering (or related) undergraduate or graduate program. • Demonstrated interest or prior internship experience in roadway/highway engineering design, inspection, or construction. • Basic proficiency in CAD, spreadsheets, interpreting design drawings, and technical writing. • Strong verbal and written communication skills; self‑motivated team player. • Working proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation (preferred). • Experience with engineering analysis and design tools like Civil 3D and HEC‑RAS (preferred).
