About the Role

The Sales Support Specialist will support the growing sales organization through the complete order‑to‑cash cycle, acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include engaging customers, maintaining sales records, and assisting the Sales Director with quotations, invoices, and performance reporting. The role also involves optimizing logistics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to organizational goals. • Engage customers via phone, email, or video to capture needs and relay requirements to internal stakeholders. • Maintain detailed sales records in local CRM, ERP, and accounting systems. • Prepare and send customer quotations, order confirmations, delivery notes, and invoices. • Create reports and performance analyses on customer activity. • Manage inventory and stock control for finished products. • Collaborate with business controlling to monitor accounts and support the A/R process. • Ensure compliance with local legislation and Sandvik processes. • Optimize in‑country logistics and transportation cycle times. • Provide market and customer feedback to various stakeholders. • Monitor customer credit limits and payment terms. • Develop, update, and maintain standard sales processes and procedures. • Work closely with US and international sales teams to mitigate supply‑chain risk. • Travel within the US for customer visits and trade shows.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or comparable experience, and have proven sales experience with a focus on new‑business development. A strong technical background in powder products, familiarity with SAP Sales & Distribution, and experience in shipping and logistics are preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in written and spoken English are required. • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or equivalent experience. • Proven sales experience focused on new‑business development. • Strong technical knowledge of tungsten powders and their applications. • Experience with SAP Sales & Distribution (preferred). • Experience in shipping and logistics (preferred). • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint). • Fluent in written and spoken English.
