About the Role

In this position the employee will work under a microscope or magnifying glass to solder components, set up and maintain specialized tooling, and conduct visual inspections to ensure quality. Continuous improvement is encouraged through suggestions for design and process enhancements, and all work is documented in quality records. • Solder electro‑mechanical components using a microscope or magnifying tools. • Assemble, set up, and maintain soldering tooling and equipment. • Perform visual inspections and record quality data for each part. • Propose design and process improvements to boost manufacturability. • Follow J‑STD‑001 standards and detailed technical instructions. • Comply with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.

What You Bring

The White Room Solderer is tasked with assembling and reworking extremely small and complex electro‑mechanical components. The role requires superior hand dexterity and the ability to interpret technical procedures and blueprints, and the successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative, first‑shift environment. Candidates must be U.S. persons eligible to work without sponsorship and must comply with ITAR regulations. Required qualifications include high dexterity, proficiency with microscope work for extended periods, adherence to J‑STD‑001 solder standards, and at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent. • Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) with no corporate sponsorship required. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; capable of prolonged microscope work.
