About the Role
The Day Shift Electrician role focuses on implementing and improving maintenance practices at a facility that produces products used by nearly a quarter of the world’s population. Recognized by managers and supported by a collaborative team, you will help deliver essential products that reach millions of consumers daily. You will work as a maintenance team member on individual and team assignments, providing electrical and minor mechanical technical support on rotating shifts. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, diagnosing and repairing power and control systems, and conducting preventive maintenance on motors, drives, UPS, and PLCs while adhering to strict safety procedures. • Perform electrical and minor mechanical maintenance on rotating shifts, troubleshooting equipment failures. • Follow all site safety practices and conduct preventive maintenance on power, control, and motor systems. • Diagnose and repair DC/AC variable speed drives, UPS, PLCs, and process control loops using schematics and wiring diagrams. • Participate in failure analysis and equipment troubleshooting across manufacturing, distribution, and utilities.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include being at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the United States, and possessing a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of industrial experience, the ability to read schematics, troubleshoot electrical components, and work on elevated platforms, catwalks, or in confined spaces. A physical abilities test, background and drug screening, and a rotating‑shift schedule (including nights and weekends) are also required. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent military MOS in electrical/electronic fields, mechanical aptitude for tasks such as belt changes and pneumatic adjustments, and proficiency with Rockwell PLC programming (RSLogix5000, RSLogix 5), FactoryTalk software, and SAP. Strong verbal and written communication skills, high “people” skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential. • Minimum 5 years industrial experience; high school diploma/GED; ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical components. • Must be 18+, authorized to work in the US, and pass background/drug screening and physical abilities test. • Able to work elevated platforms, confined spaces, and rotating shift schedule (nights/weekends). • Strong verbal and written communication, people skills, and self‑starter attitude. • Preferred: associate degree or military MOS, experience with Rockwell PLC (RSLogix, FactoryTalk), drives, HMI, SAP, and basic mechanical aptitude.
