About the Role

The carpenter will plan, lay out, and perform all types of carpentry work in accordance with applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards, while also providing support in other crafts as directed by project supervision. This role requires delivering high‑quality work safely and productively, maintaining positive crew relationships, and continuously seeking improvements. • Plan, layout, and execute all carpentry work according to plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. • Assist in other crafts as needed, based on training and skill level. • Maintain positive working relationships with crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively at all times. • Provide feedback to ensure availability of materials, tools, equipment, and information. • Identify and implement improvements, share knowledge, and teach others. • Inspect subordinate work for accuracy, compliance, and correct deficiencies. • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transport, storage, and idle time. • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, safety, and quality standards; use all relevant trade tools and equipment. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions. • Lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb on an occasional basis. • Climb and balance on steel/wood frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.

What You Bring

Key duties include providing feedback to ensure necessary materials, tools, and information are available, inspecting subordinate work for accuracy and compliance, correcting deficiencies, and eliminating waste such as waiting, rework, and unnecessary material handling. Proficiency in trade mathematics and the ability to share knowledge and teach others are essential. Candidates must have 1‑4 years of experience in industrial/commercial construction depending on the level, be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Physical demands involve up to 12‑hour shifts, lifting or moving objects up to 50 lb, climbing and balancing on steel or wood frameworks, and wearing required personal protective equipment while complying with all safety standards. • Perform trade mathematics with high proficiency. • Minimum experience: 1 year (Level I) to 4 years (Senior) in industrial/commercial construction. • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. • Wear required PPE (steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.) and comply with all safety standards.
