About the Role

The Project Manager I assures quality workmanship and on‑time delivery for all assigned projects, efficiently utilizing United Grid Solutions resources to enhance return on investment. While the incumbent cannot hire or terminate employees, they are fully responsible for overall project operation, including safety, safeguarding company funds and property, and representing the company to the client. The primary goal is to complete projects within acceptable quality and time frames, meeting cost, schedule, and contractual requirements while maintaining client relations that foster future business. • Coordinate and direct project workflow with internal and external stakeholders. • Communicate project status regularly to management and stakeholders. • Develop project specifications and implement practices to achieve defined objectives. • Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive and proprietary information. • Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the project. • Meet all project schedule milestones and delivery dates. • Utilize project resources efficiently to maximize ROI. • Proactively identify and mitigate potential project problems or seize opportunities. • Prepare and deliver formal presentations to clients and senior management. • Maintain consistent communication on key issues, client concerns, and resolution approaches. • Build client confidence and nurture positive client relationships. • Lead multi‑disciplinary teams, providing motivation and strategic direction. • Manage project budgets and financial strategies to align with contractual obligations.

What You Bring

Successful candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field, combined with 5‑7 years of experience in engineering, construction, project controls, or procurement. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. Required skills include strong organizational, planning, negotiating, and leadership abilities, advanced communication, strategic thinking, and proficiency with MS Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Teams. The role demands the ability to manage multiple tasks, provide team leadership, and oversee budget and financial strategy. The position involves regular physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, and using hands, with occasional climbing, stooping, and reaching. Employees may lift up to 25 pounds and must meet various vision requirements, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
